General Medicine is usually the first place to start when something does not feel right. Our general physician evaluates common health concerns, gives clear medical guidance you can follow at home, and keeps an eye on ongoing needs such as blood sugar and blood pressure. When a concern needs a specialist's attention, the next step is coordinated within the hospital, so your care continues without you having to start over.

General medicine within a multi-speciality hospital
A general physician consultation at AKH comes with something a standalone clinic cannot offer: the rest of the hospital, when you need it.
Eye Care, Sleep Care and other departments are in the same building, so a referral does not mean starting again elsewhere.
When needed, your general physician can coordinate with the hospital's other doctors.
AKH is a 20-bed hospital with both inpatient and outpatient care.
